Season starting

Lessons picking up water and weather warming up and everyone wants to get outdoors.

Paddleboarding is a great way to do that. Had several groups experiencing paddleboarding and some are repeat clients. Had a race in Broad Creek last week sponsored by Outside Hilton Head and that was fun meeting and hanging out with some great peeps. Thanks, Outside HH.

Get n' ready for the season... See ya at Harbour Town, South Beach Burkes beach and the surrounding waters of Hilton Head..

Off to church.. ''The Church Of Paddle Day Saints''

Sunday with waves again...

Jesse swam out with the GoPro camera and took pics of the crew today. Funny, after yesterday's fun waves more surfers came out to play.

Classy glassy waves this morning

Jesse, Giuseppe and I were the only three in the water. We had the the early before sunrise glassy waves to ourselves. Trading off wave after wave. It lasted for only 90 minutes but we had our fill. Nice way to start the weekend....

Here are some of the waves from the session.

Alex Plasse out on the SUP for School Project

Alex experienced paddle boarding for the first time today as she becomes familiar being on the water like an Hawaiian king. She will be doing her senior project on Paddle boarding. Will be fun to share the sport of SUP with her and help with her project..

A morning to be alive...

This is why I paddle. What a beautiful morning, fun waves and friends experiencing nature's beauty in the transition zone. A place where land meets water. This place has been a part of my life for over 34 years and to this day no two days are ever the same. Today was no exception.

''Nature is not peaceful in a quiet sense. To be enjoyed you must be watchful and alert. The ocean is not peaceful and calm. It's vast. Waves crash on the shore. It's about understanding and acceptance that brings peace. Knowing that the ocean brings more treasures ashore then it takes.''

Setting up for another

still waves ...

We have been getting waves for 5 straight days, three of those days were clean and glassy.

Uncommon form our waters unless a tropical weather system is spinning off shore..

We'll take it..
