Chilly Nor Easter waves..

Here are a few pics of Jesse Cadman at the Beach Club getting out in yesterday's developing Nor Easter conditions. Water temps have dropped drastically into the mid-upper 50's *F .  and air temps  just at 50*F with 15- knots,  in side offshore winds.    Water temps dropped fast in just two weeks.

This  =  BBBRRRrrrrrrrrr..   

Booties, Gloves and Hood are the equipment of choice for the next couple three months..  

This means frequent trips south  …..

Jesse all neoprene'd  up and this guy paddles out in water resistant shell. We watched his outerwear fill up with water as he rolled and tumbled in 2 ft of water on the inside..

Little session down SFB...

A little 5 shot sequence of a waist high left. Fun semi clean surf today. down on the south end of the island.. Water temps are dropping. With the continued N to NE winds and forecasted cold front early next week   we'll be in booties by then. Water in the high upper 50*F's maybe 60*F ..

Session in St. Augustine

I was lucky to catch the last of the swell down in St. Augie earlier today. Fun waist high, clean and warm. Just wore a top. Not bad for mid -November.  I'm sure it may have been better else where but I like this Longboard/ SUP spot  almost in Crescent Beach..

Weeki Wachee River and the Manatee Show

My brother and I went for a paddle in the Weeki Wachee River . Clear water and calm winds made for great exploring in the Spring.. Seen several Manatees along our 2/3 mile paddle. Huge dosile mammal that just seems to float and glide thru the water table making bubbles. One had so much growth on its body that it looks like a fro. .  One of the larger ones was very curious and followed us for several hundred yards.. .. Just a cool awe inspiring paddle shared with my Bro..  Thanks KRB

Burkes Beach Surf slide show..

Woke up to NW winds and fun 2-3 ft surf in the dropping high tide...  less than a dozen peeps out and it was great to surf with a few fellow SUP bros...  I swam out to take a few shots of the crew but was a grey blah look with fun wedgie waves..  ...
