I was able to escape the strong NE winds and headed to a sand bar on the south end of the Island.. The The wind was more offshore cleaning up the NE growing swell.. Temp. at 45* F made it a bit chilly but the sun pierced through the clouds warming it up some. Had to thank John Heidel for the surf report ..Below I captured a few pics of John as I as paddled back out..

Three years ago today my mom passed away. She managed to send me some waves that soothed my soul and warmed my heart.. I felt her ''Presence'' beside me, unseen, unheard but near. Mom still giving the gift of life..
