ANDY IRONS, a professional surfer who many considered to be the best in the world, has died a mysterious death at the age of 32. Irons was found dead yesterday (November 2nd 2010) in a Dallas hotel room after making his way home from a competition in Puerto Rico.
The world of surfing mourns an incredibly sad loss today with the news that Hawaii's Andy Irons has died.
His memory will be our treasure..

Andy lived down the street from us in Princeville, Kaua'i. He and Bruce annually held a wonderful surfing contest at Hanalei Bay for all of the young surfers in Kauai. It was always a wonderful event. He and Bruce were also avid golfers. Princeville and Hanalei will never be the same. Andy was their most famous and most loved surfer. RIP Andy!
